I suppose ''obscure'' is a question of perspective. I went with names I have not heard a lot as real given names, neither growing up or recently.
Feminine: Agape, Arsinoe, Arthémise, Azélie, Cassiopée, Cybèle, Edwige, Gwenaëlle, Iphigénie, Iseult (not obscure, but certainly not used a lot), Lucrèce, Sayen, ZenaidaMasculine: Adélard, Anatole, Arsène, Athanase, Eudes, Hector, Ludger, Stanislas
I'm a huge fan of obscure names, they mostly compose my PNLs, so I decided to choose 10 random names from both databases, for both genders. Of course, most of these would be hard to bear, but they are interesting, nonetheless!Alfonz

I’m honestly surprised Hera isn’t used more considering Greek names are starting to rise in popularity + Hera sounds like a lot of popular names.
There used to be a barista in my town named Hera before she finished college and quit. I miss her she was sweet. Said her mom was a mythology fan and her siblings had mythology names too, but I can't remember what they were.
I always promote Emerence, the French form of Emerentia (itself the feminine of Emerentius) which has also had some use in Belgium and the Netherlands, and which I think would be a great alternative for people looking for "different but not too different" shifts from Emily and Emma.

Declan isn't obscure.
