Boy names narrowed list
Here is my name list for my baby boy that is due in April. I am like 95% set on Henry but still thinking of other options. Henry (love, all-time favorite but very popular. I have a popular name, so I don't think its a huge deal but it doesn't have the same spark to me as my daughter's name, Pearl)Franklin (family name, love the feel and sound, especially with my daughter's name. But, my brother has a dog named Frank/Frankie and my name also ends in -lin)Marshall (Newer favorite. Similar to my surname as both end in Mar, so he would be Marshall MarXXX. My mom has bad connections to someone with this as a surname as well)March (baby could be born in March, which I wouldn't like. Not sure if its terrible. Its a very new love that I found on tik tok, lol. I like that its one syllable like my daughter's name and has a vintage feel. Has the same issues as Marshall with Mar-last name. Maybe too cartoon character sounding)Other names I have considered but decided against for various reasons are George, Beau, Milo, Wren, Juniper, and Theodore. I like vintage, nature names. That aren't super common. And I prefer names that have one spelling and pronunciation. Like I said above, my daughter is Pearl, and her name is so perfect to me. I just can't find a boy name that has the same feel and is perfection like hers! Any opinions or suggestions on any of this would be appreciated!

I really like March, and it's original and reminiscent of nature, like Pearl. I vote March.
Maybe Francis rather than Franklin? Henry Francis is timelessly elegant.
Ditto.
Stick with Henry.I like George too but while it's similar in style to Henry it feels more grandpa.
I like Marshall too but not with a Mar last name. Marshall Martin, we'll pretend it would be. Not hideous but I sure wouldn't like it for my name.Juniper and Wren are sickly-sweet, very feminine and very trendy. (Also, if the last name is Martin, Wren Martin sounds like a very strange bird hybrid. And Wren might well be assumed to be Ren.)Beau/Bo is a dog's name to me.
Milo has always sounded cartoonish to me but I don't know why. Also pet-like.
Theodore is very nice, if he goes by Ted.March is just awful. First of all naming a kid after the month he was born in feels so random and slapdash. Second of all, March Martin? No. There did used to be a Nascar driver named Mark Martin (he drove a car sponsored by Viagra; I cannot make this stuff up) and hearing the name always grated on my ear. Third of all, it's like a command: March!Franklin is kind of cute, though it does remind of the kids' books and TV show about the little turtle named Franklin. But he'll likely want to be known as Frank/Frankie, and as you say, uncle's dog has that and who really wants to share a name with a dog?
Completely agree!
I think Henry and Pearl go together well. Henry Franklin Mar- is a handsome choice.
Some vintage and/or nature names:Robin (I'm in the UK so know more men than women with this name, most of whom go by Rob, but I appreciate this might not be the case elsewhere)
Linden
Ash
Rowan
Warren

Walter
Ivor
Ivan
Peter
Jasper (two gem names!!)
Eric
Fraser
Vincent
Victor
Nicholas Jasper Franklin is a fun name.
Franklin gets my vote, especially with Pearl! March could work as a nickname for Marshall. Pearl and Henry is a lovely sibset, but I'm a bit tired of Henry right now...
If anything, I'd name a son Mark, Marc or Marcus for March. The rest are pretty good. Marshall to me is too associated with Eminem.
Henry is perfect, Franklin, Marshall and March just don't go with Pearl or your surname and have other issuesSome 1 syllable nature names Todd, Heath, Glenn, Dean
Naming boys is hard.I actually think Henry would go well with Pearl as well and is my favorite amongst the ones you’re considering.I also like Miles for a brother of Pearl. Plus it gives them an alliteration name, which I love.
