One of my aunt's grandkids call her Mimi. They live on the border of Virginia and Tennessee. A wife of one of my cousins called one of her grandmas Gogi and the other Meemaw. There's like a dozen ways of saying grandma in my family. A couple are really silly like Tootsie or Bunny and a few of them are babytalk; all of my grandfather's grandkids called him Dadad just because that's what the oldest called him as a baby. Mimi at least seems like Nana or Yaya or Mama/Mommy. One of my dad's grandmothers would not even answer to Grandma, though; she was always Grandmother or her name.
