In the general sense:
◾Inventive spellings on conventional names. I'm talking -leigh,
Lee, Y ending spellings. So SICK of them. Like enough already. Variations such as
Charleigh,
Camryn or Sadee. Nope, nope, nope!
◾Most modern fad names, especially if they sound incredibly infantile and unsophisticated. Names like
Braxton,
Brayden, Bexley,
Brinley,
Paisley, Jrue,
Maxton. A few on the charts even sound like dog names. 😳
◾Random words that just don't make good, sensible names. (Words like
Promise, Whisper,
Dream, Truth.
Treasure,
Rainbow,
Journey,
King,
Queen,
Prince,
Princess. Absolutely don't care for Puritan style names or front of the line royal titles as names.)
◾Eccentric names. Names that are just way too out there & pretentious for an actual child. Names like
Septimus,
Erasmus, Barnaby/Barnabas, or
Romulus.
◾ Dated & dusty. (Names that belong in an earlier time period)
Barbara,
Nancy,
Hubert,
Bertha, Berthel,
Ethel,
Myrtle,
Blythe,
Olga,
Helga,
Rufus &
Donald, to name a few. Some work but many don't.
