English names:
Agnes and Agatha - These are pretty polarizing names, and I'm on the side of not liking them because I don't like the "ag" sound. I apologize to those who like them.
Clara and Julia - I haven't liked these since I was young. They are timeless and historic names, but I personally don't like the way it sounds. (But I quite love Claire and Julie)
Arlo, Aurelia, Aurora, Elio, Ella - It feels like a "vowel mass". So personally I'm they feels insubstantial.
Alice - I'm not against Alice's comeback, but I personally don't like the sound of it. It feels similar to the sound of fingernails scratching a blackboard.
Jacob - The 'cob' part annoying for me. I prefer Caleb.
Korean names:
Minjun - This was the name of a bully at the school I previously attended. I don't like the sound either.
Do-Yun - I don't like all names starting with "Do" except Doha, Dominic, Dominica, and Dominique, and the images that come to mind are not positive.
Any Korean girl name that ends in "ja" - I don't like the way it sounds and I absolutely hate how it was popular reason in the day.
Any name with “byeong” in it (ex. Byeong-Ho) - it reminds me of a disease. (병/Byeong also means disease in Korean.)

Bella. I hate it viscerally, it makes me physically recoil. I tried to make myself like it or at least not loathe it as much but so far it hasn't really worked. Hearing or seeing this name is still a zero out of ten stars experience for me, would not recommend.
Do you know why that is?
My guess would be that I generally prefer "kiki" sounds and shapes and Bella is more "bouba". Both "b" and "l" sound heavy and weak to me. If I take a kind of similar name, such as Beulah, I like it better because the "eu" is a crisper sound than the "e" in Bella, and I also dislike Becca because the "k" sound is also weak and breathy but I tolerate it a bit better probably because "k" is lighter than "l".
Then there's also the unfortunate fact the "bela" is a word in my native language meaning "log" and I had the misfortune of watching a skit about this when I was younger. So even my associations are unpleasant (the skit was extremely unfunny).

Ohhh, yeah, it does suck sometimes when names are words in other languages.

For boys, can't stand Kevin, Brian, or Bruce. Otherwise my dislikes are more categorical; surnames in general, but particularly dislike them on girls, probably because 95% of them are masculine at root.
Deliberately misspelled names also set my teeth on edge, as do silly fad names, those that usually either contain an X or end in -ley or - leigh. All those names that refuse to acknowledge each baby will spend most of its life as an adult.
And common nouns, or worse adverbs and adjectives, as names, why is that even a thing? And most things people erroneously insist on calling 'unisex' The problem with fad names is they age poorly and soon become dated.

Loyalty, I post a comment said you shouldn’t name your child this and it got two dislikes. The poll shows most people don’t like this name, so I can’t understand why these two thinks it will make a great name…
The posts automatically are marked as one so that means only one person disliked it. But I will say that I suspect that it was more aline to the concept of loyalty than liking it name wise perhaps. Just my theory. Idk.

No, the comment you post not voted by everyone is actually 1. This site will automatically let you vote up every your comment. So if it is 0, it means 1 person dislikes it, and -1 means two.
I'm like 99% certain that 1 means zero activity thus far but I would have to double check
In the general sense:
◾Inventive spellings on conventional names. I'm talking -leigh, Lee, Y ending spellings. So SICK of them. Like enough already. Variations such as Charleigh, Camryn or Sadee. Nope, nope, nope!
◾Most modern fad names, especially if they sound incredibly infantile and unsophisticated. Names like Braxton, Brayden, Bexley, Brinley, Paisley, Jrue, Maxton. A few on the charts even sound like dog names. 😳
◾Random words that just don't make good, sensible names. (Words like Promise, Whisper, Dream, Truth. Treasure, Rainbow, Journey, King, Queen, Prince, Princess. Absolutely don't care for Puritan style names or front of the line royal titles as names.)
◾Eccentric names. Names that are just way too out there & pretentious for an actual child. Names like Septimus, Erasmus, Barnaby/Barnabas, or Romulus.
◾ Dated & dusty. (Names that belong in an earlier time period) Barbara, Nancy, Hubert, Bertha, Berthel, Ethel, Myrtle, Blythe, Olga, Helga, Rufus & Donald, to name a few. Some work but many don't.

Usually once I admit that I can't stand a name, I start liking it somehow, but I have consistently hated Matthew for most of my life.
I can't think of any names I can't stand. I can think of some I dislike, but they don't bother me THAT much just for existing.
In the spirit of this thread, though, I will say that I have never liked the name Esmé. I think it's unattractive and the sound of it makes me think of phlegm. I don't know why.
