I love the name
Selah, but I prefer it as a boy name. Though I know that it's more commonly used as a girl name currently there have been plenty of male historical figures who bear the name. One of the big examples is
Selah Strong - the husband of
Anna Strong.
Selah is one of my top names for a son, though I am worried about others automatically calling it out as a girl name even though it has (again) been used as a male name as well. I love the name though and I want to use it, I'm just worried that my hypothetical son may get some flack for it.
