I’m sorry, but is there some wrong with choosing a name for your kid because you like the look of it? That’s literally the reason why parents chose a name for their child. They might regret it, sure. But I don’t see what’s wrong with that to be honest with you, no matter what culture it is.

If an Indigenous couple thinks a name outside of their culture is cool and want to use it on their daughter, why stop them? Because it isn’t their culture?
