Now that Ivy is getting very popular, here's a name that I've always liked: Fern. I remember watching Charlotte's Web at school in Kindergarten and loving the name Fern. When I was that age, I really wanted a daughter named Alice (my favorite name now as well.) Fern, Daisy, or Christina. The plant is also very peaceful and beautiful. It's a nice nature name, easy to spell, it's unique (love that), and it ages well. I love the name Ivy as well, but I think Fern is a wonderful alternative. Fern seems sort of like a hippie name, but I don't see a problem with that. Those names are usually unique. What are your opinions on Fern?
