Desmond is my favorite.

I prefer Desmond but I also like Ray.

Don’t like either. But I’ll do with Raymond.

I prefer Raymond. Raymond nn Ray was my grand uncle. I don’t know why I don’t like Desmond but it doesn’t appeal as much.

I like Raymond, especially with nn Ray. Ray seems really smart and handsome to me, dunno why.
I hate Desmond. The sm really irritates me, in a male name, and it just sounds snivelly to me.
NN Des (pronounced with a Z sound, not an S) isn't too bad though.

I like Desmond a lot better. I'm not sure why, but there's just something about Raymond I don't like. Des and Desi are cool nicknames for Desmond.

They are ok, I have an uncle Desmond nn Desi, I prefer Desmod, another mond name I like is Edmond

I really like Desmond and have for a while now. And Des or Desi would be great nicknames. I've never particularly liked Raymond. It's actually a family name and I've always found it so elderly sounding. Oddly, though, I've been warming up to it lately. But of these two, I'd pick Desmond.
