The only male Vivian I've ever known was the guy from the Brit sitcom "The Young Ones" (and probably 95% of this board is too young to know what that is...) He was such a freak though, he doesn't do much to make it seem more masculine to me. It just seemed like one more weird thing. Other Vivians I'm met/known have always been women.

Vivian is the only spelling I like. And for a female.
