Message: "Adrian" - Behind the Name

As a kid, I had a (girl) friend in ballet named Adrian and thought it was the greatest name. I think this is the spelling she used, not Adrienne. Adrienne just seems so long... only 2 more letters, but still just looks so long to me. Adriana is ok, but wouldn't use it.

We watched the original Rocky movie last night so I remembered this name and still rather like it.

What do you think of Adrian on a girl? What about Adrienne?
