Re: Adrian

Not keen on it as a feminine name. I only like Adriana as a feminine form, Adrienne is too close to Adrien, the French masculine form. Not keen on Adriana as a name, while I love Adrian / Adrien. Though I do now associate Adriana with Adriana Caselotti, the voice of Snow White who's career took a drastic negative turn after the role. Walt Disney disallowed her to have any other role wanting her voice to remain Snow's only. She was also never credited on the movie. To this day she isn't credited on the movie. On Disney's streaming site, she's a side note in the info box. All of her roles were uncredited because nobody was knowingly allowed to hire the voice of Snow White. Disney himself just becomes more and more unlikable. He was a fantastic visionary and I love many of his works, but he was such a knob. My point is I associate it with a tragic actress from the 1930s. I might like this name more given time, Adriana herself isn't a bad association at all as she was apparently a very sweet old woman, and Adriana has a vintage charm to it. I now associate it with Snow White's "I'm Wishing" song.
