Constantia
I'm totally allured by Constantia, Constance's grand predecessor. I can't decide if I prefer a trisyllabic (con-STAN-sha) or quadrisyllabic (con-STAN-tee-a) pronunciation, though. What do you think of Constantia?

fThe first wine-producing farm in South Africa was called Constantia, after the wife of the Dutch owner (and governor of the Cape, I think). And Constantia wine was Napoleon's favourite! Here, it's conSTANsha, and nobody would use it, though I've known a Constance.
I think it's beautiful when pronounced kon-STAN-tee-a, but I find kon-STAN-sha ugly. I also like Constantina and the Polish form, Konstancja. My favourite combos are Constantia Evelina, Constantia Lavinia, Constantia Magdalena, and Constantia Sibylla.
I don't love it, I prefer the Puritanical Constance or the musical Constanza (both of which avoid the pronunciation issue).

It's beautiful. Very grand. Constantia Melisande / Millicent is my favorite.
I dont like it
Unfortunately there's a town near me full of horribly bigoted people named Constantia so the name is totally ruined for me. I looks so pretty as well.
Constantia Rosamund and Constantia Melisande are beautiful combos! I quite like this name, actually. It’s very frilly in a good way, and it’s a great alternate to Constance. I think I prefer the con-STAN-sha pronunciation.
