Amelia is my mom's hometown/county, and it's nothing to brag about. That overshadows my opinion of the name. Other than that, it just seems...mealy, bland, quaint...I like Amalia ten times more.
I've always liked Abigail, since the 90s...my friend Brittany had a baby sister named Abigail, and I thought it was nice...she sounds capable to me, plus pragmatic, whimsical, tough, sweet.
