Yes, it's hopelessly celebrity-following and trendy. If they'd named their sons Jack and Matthew no-one would blink, but since they're such unusual names, *everyone* will believe they're named directly after Beckham's kids. Sorry, but he got there first and copying him is just silly.

I don't really like Brooklyn but there's nothing really wrong with it except for the fact that it's an uber-trendy Somethinglyn name. If it's used I prefer to see it on a girl. Romeo is nmsaa but River is ok.

Btw, saying "please respond" is aggravating and off-putting. Why should we respond just because you say so? People will respond if they WANT to respond, and not because you nag them to. The more you order people around, the fewer the number of people who will bother responding. Plus, it makes you look bossy and rude.
