My name is Louis and I love my name aside from all the nicknames that come with it

It was very popular here (England) about 15 years ago, but I don't hear it so often anymore. I don't really it like much.

I used to love Lewis, enough that it ended up as one of the final few names we were considering for our oldest. I don't love it anymore, but I still think it's nice. I think I prefer this spelling to Louis too, both because then there's no confusion over pronunciation and because I think it looks warmer, friendlier, more approachable. Lewis is like that kinda nerdy but super nice guy with a good smile. It also makes me think of sunshine.
