Re: Bianca

Hi Perrine!!!
Bianca is among my favourite names.
I like names with a clear meaning and Bianca is a wonderful colour-theme name.
It is also short (so it doesn't need any NN) and finally it has an aristocratic vibe here in Italy.
Well..it is quickly increasing in popularity (in 2015 it was #30 for babies) and this could be a pity.
But I still like it!
And WDYTO it?
Can you compare it with Blanche? Do they have a similar vibe or not?

Hey :)
It is nice that Bianca has an aristocratic vibe in Italy! In Austria it is a bit dated, to the 70s and 80s, and seems unfashionable. But I like it anyway :) I think it's a great name :) Yes, it seems to be rising quickly in Italy. I hope it doesn't make the top 20. I am already sad Aurora is so common :P Hmmm Blanche seems a bit more dated in France. To me personally, Bianca sounds lively, young, fresh and happy. Blanche sounds a bit old, dusty, serious, calm. They are similar names but their images are very different to me personally. Blanca is another version, but I never knw whether I like it or not. Bianca is definitely my favorite!
