It's fresher than Charlotte and doesn't contain 'harlot', which is a great advantage. But I wouldn't expect to see it on anyone without a Romance-language heritage, which means that I've never met one and don't expect to, where I live.

I wouldn't want it for my own name or to give it to anybody else, and anyhow it doesn't seem to have gotten much use here in the US for many generations, but it is a fun name to say and to hear. (Though it does sound a bit like car lot.)
