You do see a lot of unisex or slightly girly nn's for boys. Personally I like nn's like
Danny or
Matty or
Sasha for boys.
I'd completely use
Quinn or
Avery for a boy because I don't care if it is more used for girls.
I think it's weird that it ruins a name for someone if that name gets used for both genders.

Elliott is most likely always going to be more a boys name. Who cares if some people use it or
Devon or
Sean for a girl.
