Names from American portraits
I visited the Brooklyn Museum yesterday, and they have a pretty extensive American Art section. Most of the earlier pieces (from 1600s to early 1800s) are portraits, either commissioned or just of artists' family members. I noticed some more interesting women's names among all the Elizabeths and Janes that I wanted to share.Arabella
