Danish names
I've been watching a Danish tv show lately and have been really struck by the names - as well as the pronunciation of them, which is a little mind-boggling for a English/Romance-language speaker. Previously, my entire knowledge of Danish names came from their royal family, which tend to be traditional, so names like Jeppe, Bitten, Molly, etc. were surprising finds. What are some of your favorite Danish names, and if you live in/have visited Denmark, what are ones that you encountered or found really common or interesting?

What tv show? I've seen Borgen and The Killing / Forbrydelsen and they were both SO GOOD and the names were so interesting!I really like the Danish pronunciations of Katrine, Hanne and Emilie. In one of the shows, the name Gustav is used on a little baby which really changed how I see the name. I really like:
Emil
Emilie
Søren
Magnus
Klara
Ulla
Benedikte
Astrid
Ylva
Kai
Cecilie
Bo
Ellinor
Henrik
Casper
Ingrid
Erik
Maja
Liv
Rikke
Sigrid

The show Rita starring Mille Dinesen? Funnily, there's also a baby named Gustav on it.

Some really unusual Danish names I've come across:
Thøger (m?)
Tue (m)In the region where I live, which is not too far from Denmark, Lykke and Lärke / Lærke is becoming more and more popular for girls. I'm not a fan of either.
Oh, and I used to work with a woman who was half-Danish and her name was Vibeke. My favorite Danish name is without a doubt Jens.
