I've been watching a Danish tv show lately and have been really struck by the names - as well as the pronunciation of them, which is a little mind-boggling for a English/Romance-language speaker. Previously, my entire knowledge of Danish names came from their royal family, which tend to be traditional, so names like Jeppe, Bitten, Molly, etc. were surprising finds.
