Max is tricky for me, because I like it, but I hate Maxwell and Maximilian is seeming increasingly pretentious to me. I like Max Samuel; I'm not a "nickname as full name" person, but it's nice, and Max and Owen pair really well.
I think I like Matija? Is it pronounced Mat-ee-ya?
