I know this may be in the wrong category (better in writing room) but anyway, it's advice on a name. I'm naming my character Claude. She is going to have a full name but that's where it gets complicated. Her real full name is Claudine, but her alias is Claudia since she's going under cover, deep cover. Since it starts right when she goes undercover, I'm questioning what to call her. Should it be Claudine? Claudia? Claude? Because I'm afraid having all three in the first chapter will be confusing especially since the readers don't know she's going undercover.
