All I think is of an awkward conversation in which my grandma-in-law asks me what I think about her new doily and I pause before responding "um...it's very...lacey" sounding like I know and care exactly nothing about doilies.
This conversation never happened, but It's very easy to picture. :)
So, yeah, I really don't like the name because I get a girly-pink-all-things-frilly vibe from it. Which is just really not my style or personality.
That said, Lacy over Lacey.

I know a lovely female Lacey who makes me appreciate the name, but I, too, think of doilies.
