Montgomery
There is a Montgomery St. in my town, and I drove past it this morning. Then I thought, "Huh, Montgomery is actually a pretty cool name."
What do you think? Here are some combos I cooked up:
Montgomery James
Montgomery Grant
Montgomery Andrew
Montgomery Quinn
Montgomery Jones
Montgomery Thomas
Montgomery Vincent
Montgomery Isaac
Montgomery John
Montgomery Cain
Montgomery Michael

I love Montgomery especially with the nickname Monty - so cute!
I think Montgomery is alright. It's part of the name of a chain of department stores, so that's my initial association, other than "surname". Of your combos, I best like Montgomery Vincent and Montgomery Isaac.
I like Montgomery, it's so upperclass and it sounds so intelligent.
I like Montgomery Andrew and Montgomery Cain.
I like Montgomery Andrew and Montgomery Cain.
It's just too long and pompous. Also, I grew up buying stuff from "Monkey Ward" so that's a pretty powerful association.
It makes me think of ... I dunno ... forties films, street-posh, brick-estate, hardboiled ... it's characterish. It has that appeal.
Personally I always liked it ... except the GUMRY part? I guess. I liked smart quick MONTE, or Monty, and the fact that Montgomery was hidden behind it. But I like it hidden. The glottal stop in it next to the G, in my accent, is pretty darned insufferable. Mun(k)umry. It's only because I know the hotshotty Euro spelling, that it ever seemed okay.
Montgomery Grant is pretty good.
Montgomery ... Franklin, Orrin, Walter.

I love Montgomery! So handsome! (I also like Monte, Montague, and Montego, not that you asked...)
Montgomery Quinn and Montgomery Thomas are my favourites from your list.
