Me and my ignorance: Alder Ann and Rueby Louise made me giggle. "Alder, Ann!" translates to something like "Dude, Ann!" in my mother tongue, while "Rueby Louise" would be something like "little turnip/carrot Louise".

Well, does it lessen the pain if I tell you that Esra is a quite popular Turkish girls' name and that some Turkish name sites claim that Ezra is either a variant thereof or else a girls' name with a different etymology? I don't speak Turkish, though, so I can't confirm any of this. Still, would be a nice thought, wouldn't it? ;)

When I think of it as a list of all the babies born in 2012, it seems it surely can't be. They are almost all so ... bad. But then there is the occasional name that is decent, such as Elsa Frances or Jane Carol.
