I liked it, too, when I was younger. I've met a few Ravens, two of whom were male.
Now? Not so much. It's very juvenile. It's one of those goth-y names people like when they're 12. Twins
Raven and
Robin would be way too much.
I can appreciate the sound and the Poe connection (movie notwithstanding) but I could never bring myself to use it. Even in a story. It's just so middle school.
Also, it's one of those names emo kids seem to really like. "My name isn't
Megan, it's
Raven now." Just my experience with it, of course.
