So I counted up all the data from all of the Monthly Top 10s that we've been doing to find the Top Names of the year.
Different spellings were not combined
Double names were left alone (for the most part-- a few may have been broken up accidentally)
When combos were posted, only the first names counted
If two similar names were posted with a slash or similar (like you posted
Louise /
Louisa), only the first name was counted.
Only 10 max names were counted per gender per person per month-- so if you posted a top 12 some month, the last two names weren't counted.
Here is the top 25 for each gender. I have more (I have
all the data), but the lists start getting a lot longer at each rank after this (especially with girls).

WDYT? Any surprises?
I can post the full data in a different post (attached to this one) if anyone wants to see it. I also have the data from all the other years we did the top 10s-- just ask.
Hope everyone participates in the Top 10s next year :)
