The only people I know called Vashti are both Australians. But it's still rare.
Older-generation names:
Desley (Queensland, 1940s - I think it had a limited shelf life and was confined to Queensland)
Lorrae - 1930-ish
Valda - ditto - I've met a few
Dulcie - more popular in Australia than elsewhere in the early 20th century
Raelene
NoeleneLucinda is popular now

I've never heard of Desley or Lorrae.. I've met one Dulcie, one Valda, one Raelene but no Noelene.

Des! I know many a Des. My grandma's male neighbours are Des on one side and Les on the other! (they are Desley and Lesley) Agree that it's a Queensland thing.Noeline, yes. Nola / Noela also. You have some good older generation ones here.
