I know that's not true of you. You are thoughtfully going through the process and have a different opinion on Eli / Elijah than I do. I get that. I'm just letting you know what I would be thinking if I were to come across that situation.

So it's up to you if the silent musings of a picky namenerd bother you or not. Your call.

Ack. I'm the silly one. And I'm a namenerd. The general public hasn't got a chance without the database handy.

Is the OP pronouncing it "EE-lee" like Elie Wiesel? That might help to keep it separate from Elijah.
