Elin
WDYTO Elin for a girl? Over the past couple of weeks I've really started to like it. I'm pronouncing it EH-lin, is this right?
Any middle name ideas?
Thank you

Elin is pr. something like AY-lin, it's a bit difficult to describe. The E is acute, like in the French word liberté. I like the name because it's the name of one of my cousins. It's a rather common name in Sweden.
I've always like Elin and pronounced it more like "AY-lin" but also as "EH-lin" the way you do.
And now because of Tiger Woods Americans think it should be pronounced "EE-lin." Ick. But I still think it's worth using. Just be prepared to explain the pronunciation.
