I love the name Daisy actually. It just sounds so happy and sweet imo. I would give the name a 10 out 10 tbh. Daisy Amelia, Daisy Emmaline, Daisy Guinevere and Daisy Josephine are all lovely. I think Daisy Amelia is my fave though.

I adore Daisy but only as a nick because I'm worried that it wouldn't transition well into adulthood. Or maybe I'm worried people would prejudge her as a ditz. Honestly, I think the problem is mine. ;-)

I've really gone off this name. Admittedly there are worse names around, but I find prissy and childish and am not so keen on the associations - Daisy Duck, Daisy from The Great Gatsby.

I think it's too frivolous to be used as a given name. I know that people don't understand the connection to Margaret / Marguerite, but I really prefer to see Daisy used as a nickname for one of those.

I've met two people with the name - one is a little girl whose parents work at the college I went to and the other is a Salvadoran-Mexican woman (whose name was actually spelled Daysi) I met while in Mexico for a class.

My favorite of your combos is Daisy Beatrice. I like the three-syllable middle names with emphasis on the first syllable best with Daisy (Beatrice, Emmaline, Josephine, Guinevere, and Catherine which in this combo I found myself pronouncing CATH-e-rin rather than CATH-rin).

Daisy is more suited for pet rabbits and various rodents.

I think it's a bit childish as a human name. It's the same with most flower names for me -- bar Linnéa and Violet and a couple of others -- so I keep them in the middle name spots on my list.
