Ibbie's kind of cute. I don't like Izzy at all, and even though I love Bella, Belle, they're pretty popular. So Ibbie would make a nice change. It could maybe be short for Ichabod, or Ingeborg. Couldn't think of anything more common, sorry.
I tend to not do nicknames for boys' names, but I have some for girls:
Aggie for Agatha
Bindy for Belinda
Kae for Katarina
Ava (ah-va) for Lavender
Lore for Lenore
Tansy for Mathilda (maybe too much of a stretch...)
Tansy for Tanith
and I've been playing with having Lyda short for something, because I like the sound. Alodia, maybe?
