I think it's very beautiful and certainly not too "old" - after all, Matilda is riding high in the name charts at the moment, and if that can come in from the cold, then Marguerite can for sure. It hasn't been over-used in any one generation to be "old lady" in any case.
It has the "youthful" nns Daisy and Margot.
Marguerite is lovely as a fn as well as a mn.
