I like it. The only one I know is 70-ish, but I don't think it sounds dated.

I love it. It is my little sister's name so I don't think it sounds too old. There are lots of great nns for it as well that you can use when she is young if you think Marguerite is too much name for a little one. We call my sister Daisy :-)

I like Marguerite more as a middle name than a first name. It doesn't sound old, but it *does* sound prissy.

I think it's very beautiful and certainly not too "old" - after all, Matilda is riding high in the name charts at the moment, and if that can come in from the cold, then Marguerite can for sure. It hasn't been over-used in any one generation to be "old lady" in any case.
It has the "youthful" nns Daisy and Margot.
Marguerite is lovely as a fn as well as a mn.

I really like it! Margaret is my all time favorite name, so any form of it/similar sounding name I tend to like as well. I don't think Marguerite sounds old at all. It sounds very elegant. My favorite combo with it is Claire Marguerite.

I like it and it sounds very youthful to me.
