No, no, no...(m)
I don't like it at all--a deacon is not a name. It's a position in the Catholic Church. In my experience, deacons are like glorified altarboys; we only see them at Confirmation in my church, and then the one that comes always glares at the altarboys during the service.Naming a child Deacon is like naming a child Archbishop or Priest or Pope or Rabbi. It's just not cool, in my book.Array
