Preferred sets:
Adelaide
Vivienne
Adeline
Amaryllis
Beatrice
Beatrix (I wouldn't normally pick these 2, but they fit well with Clare)
EloiseI love Rosalie, but wouldn't put it after Clare. The only nn I really like for Frances is Franki and Fran's ok too... With its slang use, Fanny's quite unfortunate a nn to get lumped with as it's now less than flattering in American En. and crude in British En.

I prefer Frances without the nn, but from your list I don't hate Frannie and Francie. From the Clare list I like:Clare Adelaide -but it might have a bit too much place names for one combo
Clare Beatrice
Clare Eloise
Clare Evgeniya
Clare Isadora
Clare Matilda

Actually, I like the nn Franna or Fan. WDYT? I would choose:
Clare (or, Clara)...
Adelaide
Beatrix
Emmeline
Georgian
Isadora
Julietta
Mathilda
Melisande
Philippa
Rosalie
Viviana
Winifred n(if use as a fn, nn Winnie)Looking at the names you like, would you like Clare Arabella? They kind of have the same "air" sound, which makes it pretty. (:

Clare Mathilde
Clare Melisande
Clare Millicent
Clare Philippa
Clare RosalieMy mom's name was Frances, with no nickname, so it's a little hard for me to picture it with one. If I had to pick, I'd say Fancy or Francie
