I've only ever known female Brynns--by which I mean two. One in dance some years ago, and one in college.
I much prefer Bryn(n) on a boy, personally, and always have, but as with Darcy and a few other names, I think it's one that works about equally nicely on either sex.
And I'm in the US. :)
