Jocelyn & Josephine
Are Jocelyn and Josephine too close to use in a sibset? My favorite name is Jocelyn but I really love Josephine too. What are your opinions? Any Josephine combos? Thanks!!

I don't think that they are too close but Jocelyn it isn't my style because it's fancy and overused IMO..

I don't think they're too *close* to use in a sibset, but I do think that each name's individual style is too different to be used in the same sibset. Josephine is classic and feminime, whereas Jocelyn seems more modern and can be used for either gender.

I think they are too close to use as first names in a sibset, but they would be fine as a fn for one and a mn for another. Josephine is one of my favorites, but for you I think you should keep Jocelyn and "demote" Josephine. If you use them both (from your PNL):
Josephine Ember
Josephine Ruth
Josephine Amira
Josephine Soleil
Josephine Lyra
Josephine EvadneMy pet Josephine combo is Josephine Willa.

I really like Josephine Ruth, Josephine Ember and Josephine Evadne. Thanks so much! I am planning on playing around with the combos suggested and trying to find one I like with Josephine as a mn.

I was thinking to call Jocelyn probably by her full name or maybe sometimes Joss, and I haven't decided on a nn for Josephine. Anything but Fifi. From your list, I like:Josephine Beatrix
Josephine Violet
Josephine MarissaThanks for your suggestions!!

I like both names they're very sweet. They are a bit too close to be used in a sibset I think. If Josephine didn't start with the same Jo- sound/letters and then add that it's so closely followed by the C/S that has that S sound. Another thing is that their style is a bit different, Jocelyn is a a bit brighter and fresher sounding where as Josephine is a bit older in sound. I think the contrast between the sisters names would be felt at once.
It's too bad too because they're both lovely names! Maybe Josephine could be a MN for Jocelyn's sister? Some MNs for Josephine just in case:
Josephine Eve
Josephine Sadie
Josephine Violet / Viola
Josephine Evelyn
Josephine Mary
Josephine Elise
Josephine Alice
Josephine Annabelle / Annabel
Josephine Rose
Josephine Ruth
Josephine Ruby
Josephine Nora
Josephine LilyAny you fancy? Many of those combos would work with Josephine as the MN too. I hope this helps!
