Mohammed and Franz?
Yes, couldn't be more different! I just didn't want to waste board space with two separate posts. Anyway, I've loved Mohammed for quite some time, and in the past few months started greatly appreciating Franz. I'm sure I could use Franz without a problem, but would it be considered rude/innapropriate to use Mohammed? I really love the name, but don't want to be seen as mocking Islam or anything or the sort. Perhaps it should just be a GP, despite it being entirely legitimate? Anyway, I was hoping you guys could help me come up with some MNs. Mohammed proved to be more difficult because not many of the names on my list really fit it all too well.Mohammed Atticus
Mohammed Casimir
Mohammed Octavius (tad pretentious)
Mohammed YashaFranz Adrian
Franz Augustus
Franz Avitus
Franz Ferdinand (just kidding!)
Franz Leopold (love this, but is the association with King Leopold of Belgium too strong?)
Franz Matthias
Franz Octavius
Franz Wilhelm

I didn't even notice this when I wrote the above post, so it must be the season for Franz. I really love Franz Joseph, after Haydn. I love Haydn.

Mohammed / Mohammad / Muhammad is like the John Smith of the Arab world. its actually pretty high in the UK baby name charts now. it would be rather unusual for a non-Muslim child to have such a common Islamic name. it could work as a mn better.
i'm not overly keen on Franz either, but i love your mns.
i like Franz Leopold, i didn't make the connection to Belgium, i highly doubt other people would. its not like you'd name him William Arthur Philip Louis Mountbatten-Windsor!
