I've really begun to like the name Harper for a girl. Yes, I know it's a surname. Please don't waste your time telling me. Harper is actually my last name and I would consider using this for a daughter once I'm married (and my name is changed) and have children. To me, it would be a variation on naming my daughter after myself. It wouldn't be meant to honor the family name b/c I have a different surname than my other siblings and I do not speak to my father. What do you think?
