hm, i associate it with horror movies. I like Vran/Bran, Corvo or Corveux much more, same meaning, and same sort of elegance, as it does seem like the name of a very austere old aristocrate from an eccentric family. Edmond Corvo/Corveux or Edmond Corvinus, if this were for a story that would be great for the mis-represented good guy in the scary castle, or just a very cool name for a little boy, that stands out.
