I was wondering what the opinion was on this name and whether it is indeed pronounced Gee-ah-da or Jah-dah...as the book recently out by some well known authorities on baby names (Linda Rosenkrantz and Pamela Satran...spelling?)...say it is pronounced the first way I noted and someone who put a comment under this name on this very board said that it is the latter pronunciation. I am now confused but still tend to think it is pronounced the first way. And yes, I am VERY aware of the lady on the Food Network who has this name. Thanks in advance.
