I don't think it really matters; if you say GEE-ah-dah quickly, it sounds the same as JAH-dah anyway. It depends on if you want to add the stress, which is more Italian.

And there is no such thing as a set authority on prn -- not those two, not this website or this board. Names are too individual; there are standards, but there is no authority. Many names have multiple "accepted" prn, and these two are both used as far as I know.
