And Kit's name is Margaret Kittredge. Kit's just a nickname from her last name.

Addy is a good nickname, and there are certain full names that I really like for it. (It stinks the book never tells you if that's her full name or not.) Sam is a good strong name, and fits the character. Esther is pretty.

I like Margaret a lot, and the nickname Kit from her last name is cool. Charlie is definitely a good fit for a teen boy from the 30's.
