Music was huge part of my late grandmother's life. There was never a time when she wasn't singing or the radio wasn't playing in their house, and you can tell it's rubbed off on all of her children. She loved to sing, and she was good at it too. In fact, she used to sing for radio commercials (live, because that's how they had to do it back then) for money. She had to work numerous jobs at a time because she was a single mother of eight children. So basically, she was a very wonderful woman with a passion for music.
I found out today that she was a part Sweet Adelines (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweet_Adelines_International). Ever since then,
Adeline has been growing on me. I thought it would be a neat way of subtley honoring her, since her name was kinda boring (
Kathryn Elizabeth).
I'd probably only use
Adeline as a mn, as it's becoming quite the trend.
Eve Adeline and
Willa Adeline came to mind, but I'm not really set on it. Any ideas? Thanks so much!
