and also, Emily is a pretty and classic name, it just so happens a lot of us (being name nerds) appreciate its popularity, and would not want our child to be Emily H all her life.
To stereotype a person by their name is a bit stupid IMO, and I agree with Cera that you're being very hypocritcal, I'm sure there are some very nice Shawna's out there.
