Me (and apparently Array) might be the only people who like Gertrude nowadays. ;-)I admit Gertrude sounds a little harsh and heavy, but its heaviness is refreshing to me after all the light, frilly names out the there like Isabella, Sophia, Emily, etc. And your little Gertrude will certainly be more "unique" than another McNevaehlynleigh in the classroom!Gertruda softens the name a little, but not enough to ruin its unique hardness imo. I still like Gertrude better, but Gertruda just might grow on me a little more.
