I like it too! I recently read a historical fiction work about Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's sister Nannerl and in the book his sister always called him Wolfie which I thought was so cute! I don't know if Wolfgang would work very well in the USA as people will probably mispronounce it and tease. But I really life it and it's the type of name that I would use for a pet or story character but not really for a child unless I was very brave or it honored family. I would use Amadeus though. :)
